Ducati has an air-cooled Monster again, with today’s announcement of the Monster 797.
The 797 packs the 803 cc air-cooled two-valve L-twin that’s had the starring role in the Scrambler lineup for the past few years (75 hp, 69 Nm of torque). It’s a basic bike, with more in common with the Scramblers than with the IMU-equipped hyperbikes Bologna is cranking out, with double-sided swingarm and non-adjustable forks (from Kayaba).
However, it should still be a fun ride; the rear Sachs shock is adjustable for preload and rebound. Weight is a modest 401 lbs wet, and Bosch dual-channel ABS is standard. A slipper clutch is standard, as are 320 mm Brembo brake calipers up front.
The Monster 797 is not on Ducati’s Canadian website yet — we’ll get pricing and availability for you when we can.

It`s on the website now at C$ 10.195 which is not too bad for a Ducati.
I don’t get it. I thought they went to a liquid cooled monster due to emissions standards.
A bit confusing for sure.
