The Mad Bastard Scooter Rally has a new home! Canada Moto Rallies is pleased to announce that BECO Motors International (aka KYMCO Canada) is now the proud new owner of the beloved MBSR. KYMCO Canada has been the title sponsor and co-organizers of the MBSR since 2007 and both companies are happy with this outcome.
Although it feels a little bit like selling your own child, we are very confident that the KYMCO Canada team will not only add their own style while remaining true to the Mad Bastard ideals, but continue to grow it too. We are excited to watch the evolution.
Time allowing, this opens up the possibility for Rob Harris to be able to attend the event as an actual rider, after so many years as the guy behind the scenes. The only Mad Bastard Rob has ever ridden was the inaugural event around Lake Ontario in 2004. And boy, that was a long time to be on a fifty!
