G4 long-range headset
A Bluetooth headset just released by Cardo Systems will allow up to four motorcyclists to talk over a one-mile (1.6 km) distance.
The Scala Rider G4 allows two riders and two passengers, or up to three riders on separate bikes, to talk with each other. It’s a full-duplex system so riders can talk and listen at the same time, and allows cell phone conversation with other callers.
The system is compatible with just about any Bluetooth device including phones, music players, and GPS units, and has a built-in FM radio receiver with seek and scan features.
It’s voice-activated and has voice-dial and call-reject features.
