If you feel that you ought to be racing instead of sitting around the house, looking glumly out the window at the snow, then you’re in luck – the latest MotoGP game has been released in North America. It was launched last summer, but supposedly unavailable here until now.
MotoGP 14 is now available for XBox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and PC. The game includes riders from both the 2013 and 2014 seasons, as well as famous riders from the past. Ever wondered how Valentino Rossi would fare against Mike Hailwood? Actually, we’re not sure if Mike the Bike is one of the riders in the game, but you get the idea.
The game includes all the official MotoGP tracks, and lets racers race on their own console, or pit themselves against their friends online. There’s a new graphics engine that the publisher (BANDAI NAMCO) says “gives players the experience of being a real MotoGP rider.” Minus, you know, the whole danger of road rash/severed limbs/fractures/death if you screw up.
From what we can see online, the game will cost you around 60 bones.
