KTM introduced their new 1190 Adventure back in 2012, and it didn’t make it to North America until 2013, but spy shots seem to indicate the model is already up for some revisions.
The shots, supposedly taken by Canarias Moto Rent, have been making the Interebz rounds for the last couple of days (we pinched them from Asphalt and Rubber). The upgraded machine still seems to be powered by that V-twin KTM originally used in the LC8, and most of the upgrades seem touring-oriented.
The photos show a different fuel tank, probably to increase capacity and range. There’s a pair of crash bars protecting the tank, but no indication as to whether that’s standard configuration, or if they’re an option. There’s also a new adjustment system on the windshield. The other visible changes are just minor bodywork tweaks, but it’s possible there’s more electronic trickery available on the new model that we just can’t see in the photos.
