Ben Young is headed home, sort of.
Young, who’s been based out of Thornbury, Ontario, for the last few years, is headed to the UK to race in the British Superbike championship, after a few years of grinding away in the AMA Daytona Pro Sportbike class. Young’s originally from Scotland, and competed in the British and Scottish 125GP Championships.
Now, he’s going to be aboard a ZX-10R for Team WD-40, wearing #40. Sudbury Tim Hortons franchisee Gilles Bolduc will continue to sponsor him. You can find out more about Young’s new team at their website here; supposedly, Canadian-based racing fans should be able to follow BSB racing on Velocity’s website. Young’s Facebook page is here.
