If you live on the west coast or are planning an adventure tour there, Butler Motorcycle Maps has got just the thing for you. Their new Washington Backcountry Discovery Route map lays out 1,000 km of tracks that are, well, off the beaten track.

The map is waterproof, tear-resistant, and folds down to 11 x 23 cm for easy storage and includes detailed ride info on the back. It also includes ScanLife barcodes that allow you to view videos of the route on your smart phone.

The scenic north-south route zigzags from the Canadian border to the Oregon state line and was mapped by Bryce Stevens and Andrew Cull. According to the creator’s website, the route “uses mostly un-paved backroads through the Cascade Mountains.” You can also download GPS files of the route from the website for free.

You can buy the waterproof, tear-resistant map for $14.95 U.S. from Butler Motorcycle Maps, where you can also order a DVD documentary filmed during the mapping of the route for $24.95 U.S.
