08 race schedules announced

Subject to the usual rounds of changes,
TBAs, errors, omissions, and general plain old screw-ups, here are
’08 race schedules for the major players.

Parts Canada National Superbike

The Parts Canada National Superbike
series is a little uncertain, with two locations still to be
determined.

May 22 – 25 TBA
June 26 – 29, Race City Motorsport
Park
July 17 – 20, Mosport International
Raceway
August 7 – 10, Atlantic Motorsport
Park
August 21 – 24, TBA
August 28 – 31, Shannonville
Motorsport Park

Presumably the events at Calgary and
Mosport will repeat as doubleheaders, but that’s as much of a
mystery as the May and late August TBAs. You can imagine the thrill
the competitors have looking at three events in August, and two that
at this point are unknown.

AMA Superbike

The AMA has released its schedule of
Superbike events in the U.S., with a number of doubleheaders, one WSB
round, and one Moto GP round on the list.

Moto GP

Finally, the apex of apexes, the
pinnacle of racing, Moto GP. If you happen to notice that there are
three events in Spain and two in the U.S. in this “world”
championship and wonder why – guess where the money is?
