Looking for something to do tonight in Brampton? Instead of riding down to Leamington to go cow tipping, you can stay in town and check out Motorcycle Mondays, hosted by the Brampton Motorcycle Association.

From the email they’ve sent out, it sounds like the first event was a success, with at least a couple hundred bikes showing up. Tonight, they’re meeting at the Rose Theatre Square, and there’ll be plenty of stuff going on. Airbrush artist Amanda Brisebois will be there, Brampton Powersports will have machines on display, the Motorcycle Training Organization of Halton-Peel will be answering questions about their program as well.

Interested in showing up, but you’re too much of a cheapskate to make the visit? You’re in luck, tightwad – there’s no admission fee to attend. The word on the street is that there’s some sort of live music going on, and maybe even some food (that’s probably not free, though). This two-wheeled shindig starts at 6 p.m. and goes to 9, and for further info, you can contact Mike Davis at 905-456-2968 or Murray Hutchinson at 416-419-0715. You can also email motorcyclemondays@gmail.com and check out www.the-bma.org.
