Honda’s big V4 is getting some upgrades for 2012.

One of the biggest changes to the VFR1200F is traction control, which works in conjunction with the ABS system.

The optional dual-clutch transmission has also been upgraded; it’s supposed to shift more smoothly now. Honda also tweaked the machine’s fuel injection system, supposedly giving it a big torque boost in the 2,000-4,000 rpm range and better fuel economy.

Add a bigger fuel tank to those EFI changes, and VFR riders should be able to get more than 300 kms between fuel-ups now. Honda also added a new seat that’s supposedly more comfortable, which should make the sport-touring set happy.
