The details are slim, but BMW is teasing a new superbike. The new machine will be unveiled on Wednesday, September 23 (tomorrow).
Scanning the usual Internet chatter and gossip, it seems likely this is going to be a hyper-performance version of the S1000 RR superbike; note that the YouTube teaser is promising a bike “Born on the Racetrack.” The brief description clip says we’ll “Experience the ultimate will to win and the pure demand for performance.” Errrrr, that probably rules out a naked bike, then, and you can see a sportbike in the background of the image. We’re almost certainly not going to see a BMW supersport in the 600 class … so get ready for a new litrebike. Stay tuned!
