Honda shows off updated NC750X, CB500X

2016 Honda CB500X

Honda has unveiled the updated NC750X and CB500X we told you about last week.

Neither bike gets significant mechanical upgrades, but they do get a number of minor tweaks. Along with slightly revised front suspension, the NC700X gets a bigger storage compartment (to 22 litres, from 21 litres), a 70 mm taller windscreen, LED taillight and headlight, revised modes for the DCT version, and a new muffler.

The CB500X gets an LED headlight and taillight, a new shock with pre-load adjustability, an adjustable brake lever, and a new gear shift mechanism that’s supposed to make the transmission easier to use. The windshield is now 100 mm taller.

The two bikes also get visual restyling, as you can see in the photos above and below. We have no word yet on Canadian availability, but both bikes are featured on Honda Canada’s website. There, it says we’ll have more details tomorrow.
