MotoGP video game to launch this Friday

If you’re the type who plays video games, and you’re the type who likes MotoGP, you’re in luck, as the latest MotoGP-titled racing game debuts later this week.

Titled (in a flash of brilliance) MotoGP14, the game puts you in the leathers of competitors from MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3. Along with real-life racers, you can also create your own racer. The game has several features that go beyond the standard racing format; for instance, gamers can have themselves inserted into real-life in-race scenarios from the 2013 season. Want to take place in an epic Marc Marquez-Jorge Lorenzo duel? The game can make that happen.

The game will also allow players to race as legendary MotoGP racers from past championships.

For more details, check out the game’s website. The Media page shows in-game shots side-by-side with real-life photos of the tracks; the realism is impressive. All the official tracks and manufacturers are present.

MotoGP14 is available on Friday, June 20, for PC, XBox 360, PS3, PS4 and PlayStation Vita.
