MV Agusta has announced their riders for the 2014 World Superbike season.

MV Agusta has entered WSB competition in conjunction with Russian team Yakhnich Motorsport. They’ll have one bike in the Superbike class (the F4 RR), piloted by Claudio Corti, who lost his MotoGP CRT ride.

“I feel a big responsibility on my shoulders,” Corti said. “We have a lot of work to do in our first WSBK but I’m ready to give my best and share my experience with the team, in order to reach together the highest goals.”

The team will have two riders in the Supersport series; Vladimir Leonov (returning from a stint in Supersport competition) and Jules Cluzel will be aboard the MV Agusta F3 in this series.

“”After two years of experience in World Supersport, I feel I have what it takes to fight for the podium,” Leonov said. “There’s a new bike to ride, but the team is the same and I’m sure the MV Agusta F3 has a great potential.”
