If you really want to buy a new Moto Morini, you should have your chance again soon. Reports say they’ll be building bikes again this winter.

According to Asphalt and Rubber, Moto Morini will be going back into production in 2012. They’ve already got management staff in place, and the word on the street is that they’re rounding up production workers to staff their plant again.

Moto Morini is one of Italy’s oldest motorcycle companies, but they’ve been beset by financial woes in recent years. Last summer the company went up for auction, but couldn’t even get a bid. Luckily for them, a buyer came through shortly afterward.

Supposedly, the company will once again be selling the 9 ½, Corsaro 1200, Granpasso, and the Scrambler, as well as a fifth model they say they’ll be introducing sometime next year. That’s all the details we have on the machine, though.
