"I’ve had it with these m&%erfu#ing bikes on this m&%erfu#ing runway!"

The 10th anniversary Runway Romp will take place at North Bay, Ontario, on Sept. 11-12, with road racing for vintage and nearly-modern motorcycles and other events for families.

The Runway Romp is a Vintage Road Racing Association annual event and takes place on an unused corner of the Jack Garland Airport. Solo and sidecar racing for bikes dating from the 1950s to the 1990s will go on through the weekend.

Additional activities will include Honda demo rides, dyno testing, parade laps for nonracers and rides in racing sidecars, helicopter rides, and an evening dinner cruise on the Chief Commanda II. Food, souvenirs, and lots more good stuff will be available, of course.

The Runway Romp races are the final event on the 2010 calendar for the VRRA. Admission is $25 for the weekend or $15 per day, and kids get in free.
