No more trail rides? northumberlandtrailriders.com

Trail riders in southwest Ontario are threatened with the loss of some well-established trails in the Northumberland Forest near Cobourg.

According to the Ontario Federation of Trail Riders, members of that association and the Northumberland Trail Riders club went to a meeting with officials of Northumberland County on Dec. 17 and discovered that county staff are likely to try to prohibit off-road vehicle use in much of the forest, even though the Northumberland Trail Riders were given permission in 1997 to build and use trails there.

You can read more about it at the OFTR website , or just go to the petition page and sign your name along with about 600 other concerned motorcyclists.
