EICMA: Moto Guzzi V9 details

Show photos by Alexandra Straub.

Guzzi’s new V9 platform is based on an air-cooled transverse v-twin and is available in two formats – the Bobber and the Roamer. Both bikes have a claimed weight of 200 Kg and are tuned to deliver 46 ft-lbs of torque at 3,000 rpm. They come with ABS and adjustable traction control and 22-spoke wheels, though the Bobber has smaller 16 inch wheels.

The main difference is visual, with the Roamer looking like a classic standard bike complete with splashings of chrome, flat seat and large front wheel. The Bobber on the other hand goes for an all-black look with flatter bars and a very fat front tire.

  1. The Giallo Roamer is so beautiful it makes me want to cry. This is what I want!! If there was any justice in the world this would be parked in my driveway, ready for a long ride over the hils and far away.
