According to reports online (we heard it first from Asphalt & Rubber), MV Agusta’s factory has been affected by regional flooding.
If you read about visits to MV Agusta’s Italian factory, you’ll often hear some words about its location near scenic Lake Varese. Alas, that scenic body of water has risen enough that the factory is flooded, and employees have been sent home.
Details of the damage are pretty thin right now; supposedly, some unfinished motorcycles have been affected, along with the plant’s infrastructure, but there’s been no official news release that we’ve seen.
Guess Mercedes-Benz AMG signed on just in time to pony up for flood relief!
