Montreal Motorcycle Show Runs February 24-26

The Toronto Motorcycle Show just wrapped up, and now the circus is off to Montreal! This weekend (February 24-26, 2023), the Montreal Motorcycle Show returns after a few years off, thanks to COVID-19.

What to expect

This year’s show should be quite similar to previous events, although a few manufacturers won’t be displaying their new machines. Most of the crowd is there, though (see a floor plan of exhibitors here), including some new and new-ish sections. The Hangar 17 show returns (aimed at hip, young riders who like to build their own customs) and there’s a new ExPLR section, focused on adventure riding. The speaking lineup for that part of the show is particularly strong, and if you’ve been wondering what ADV opportunities you can find in Quebec, we recommend you check that out!

There are also various learn-to-ride opportunities, including the Yamaha Riding Academy, a classic MMIC show feature that puts kids on TTR125 dirt bikes and gives a basic beginner’s course.

There’s a trials riding demonstration, vintage bikes on display, and along with the customs at Hangar 17, Original Garage Moto also has a custom V-twin display.

Where/when to go

Once again, the show runs at Palais des congres de Montreal, at 1001 Place Jean-Paul-Riopelle. The show is open noon-9 PM Friday, 10 AM-8 PM Saturday and 10 AM-5 PM Sunday. As usual, Friday is She Rides Night, where ladies get in for half-price after 5 PM.

What you’ll pay

Ticket prices seem in line with previous years: $17 for adults (15-65), $13.50 for seniors (65+) and students (must have ID). Juniors (age 6-14) pay $11 and children 5 and under get in for free, as long as they’re with a paying adult. A family pass is $42 (two adults, two children). Tickets are available online at the show website, with a $1.70 service fee applied to each ticket.
