Cleveland CycleWerks’ bobbers and cafe racers are based around interesting concepts, but there’s no denying they’re bare-bones bikes. Now, owners have access to a couple new pieces to improve their performance or looks.

Here's CCW's brake upgrade kit.

The Ohio-based company now has a Brembo brake upgrade kit available for their made-in-China chopper, called Tha Heist. It includes a dual opposed-piston brake caliper (which costs $115.95 on its own); for $199.95 you get the entire kit, with adapters to fit it to your machine.

As well, like any other machine these days, the CCW bikes are sold with all sorts of EPA-required parts bolted on, to keep Al Gore and his friends happy. That includes a secondary air injection system on the motor. Should you want to remove that in order to tune your bike for more performance (on the race track only, of course), CCW now sells a block-off adapter for $14.95. Beware, if you live in the “FASCIST ANNEXED TERRITORY OF CALIFORNIA” (their words, not ours), Colosimo and co. will not sell you the part.

Another non-EPA-friendly part they’re carrying is a Wiseco piston that you can use to boost displacement to around 300 cc (the bikes are just shy of 230 cc in stock form). Their site notes that “this is not just a drop in part, an experienced engine builder should be retained to install the larger piston.” It costs $200 US.

Should you just want to tart your bike up, CCW is also offering custom painted tin sets (fenders and gas tank) for their Heist model. They’ll set you back $999 US.
