If you need to cool off after the recent heat wave, maybe you should download RWC: North, the latest offering from Curbsyde Productions.

Last winter, we told you that Paul “Iceman” Mondor, cameraman Jesse Clark and Joe and Flora Lloyd of Curbsyde Productions were headed out on a mad expedition – a 10,000 km loop that would take them through western Canada to Tuktoyaktuk, NWT.

The expedition, which saw Mondor and Joe Lloyd filmed as they rode BMW F800 GS machines through wintertime Arctic conditions, was part of Curbsyde’s ‘Reconnecting with Canada’ documentary series. RWC: North wasn’t only about riding through deadly, frigid terrain; it also gave the team a chance to show how people pass the winter in some of the coldest parts of Canada.

The 8-episode documentary of the Arctic adventure (approximately 160 minutes long) is available for download now. Check it out – it’s only $12 and it could be what you need to forget this summer’s relentless heat. After all, there’s nothing like watching a couple miserable dudes freezing themselves as their BMWs slide over icy patches to make you grateful for our precious few days of Canadian sunshine.
