Last year, President Bush greeted members of Rolling Thunder when the motorcyclists roared into Washington, D.C., but this year’s boss may not show up.
For the 22nd annual ride through Washington, the biker group that advocates for military members, prisoners of war, and veterans may have to be satisfied with White House staff members instead of their Commander in Chief.
Rolling Thunder is expected to pull up at the White House today, but officials there were not sure who would step outside to meet the bikers. They were pretty sure it would not be President Obama.
Last year, Bush was photographed wearing Rolling Thunder colours and joking with the leaders of the group.
