CMGers in the GTA might want to keep some time clear this weekend to head to the Toronto Motorcycle Film Festival.
We’ve mentioned the festival a couple of times already; the judges were announced back in July, and the film lineup was finalized in August. There are international submissions and films from a Canadian perspective as well. You can find a full lineup, as well as brief summaries of the films, at the festival’s website. In total, 16 films are showing this weekend, including a mix of short films and features, documentaries and dramas.
The festival runs at Toronto’s Revue Cinema all weekend, kicking off with a reception at 7 PM Thursday night, which is free to attend. The films start screening at 6:30 PM Friday, beginning with Chasing Evel: The Robbie Knievel Story. There are films again on Saturday night, and an awards presentation and talk panel on Sunday.
