Charlottetown police handling bizarre motorcycle road rage case

Usually, people think of Prince Edward Island as a beach paradise filled with shiny, happy people. And usually, motorcycle-related road rage cases involve an angry cager chasing down a motorcyclists.

Both those assumptions aren’t always correct, however, as the Charlottetown Guardian reports! The Guardian says local police are laying charges after a motorcyclist allegedly chased down a car on the highway, cut the vehicle off, then parked, walked back to the vehicle and punched and spat on the driver.

The alleged incident happened back on June 11, meaning police are taking their time on this one — perhaps they’ve been delayed by reports of potato piracy, or they are busy trying to break up the lobster mafia. Our advice? If the allegations are true, they definitely need to address the issue, but there’s no point in getting too harsh with the punishment. If the motorcyclist really is out there cutting off car drivers, there’s a good chance natural selection will take care of the issue sooner or later …
