Since the Husqvarna 701 was introduced in concept form back at the 2013 EICMA show, Canadian supermoto fans have wondered when, or if, it would appear in our market. Now we have that answer.
According to their marketeers, the Husqvarna 701 supermoto will be in North American dealerships in February of 2016 — just before the spring buying season. You can check out Husqvarna’s Canadian dealership network here.
Although Husqvarna is mainly focusing on off-road motorcycles in the company’s latest incarnation (the Nuda naked bike and Terra dual sport are long gone from the line-up), they do seem quite keen to promote the 701. Their microsite for the bike (see it here) has videos of the bike and a spec sheet, and even interviews with the design team. See the bike in ice-racing action below.
