Vega has huge helmet recall

Motorcycle helmet manufacturer Vega is recalling 30,000 helmets.

Yahoo says the lids in question (XTS helmets in sizes L, XL and XXL, and manufactured between May 2011 and October 2012) were recalled after failing the U.S.’s National Highway Traffic Safety Administration testing.

We’re not sure how many of these helmets are in Canada, but if you have one, get in touch with Vega – they say they’ll replace the helmet. The recalls start in January.
