Built in Mandello del Lario, Italy, the California 1400 Custom is Moto Guzzi's version of the American cruiser. It's powered by a torquey, air-cooled, 1,380 cc eight-valve V-twin, and it's still loaded with high-tech features like ride-by-wire throttle, cruise control, traction control, and selectable ride modes (Touring, Sport, Rain). Most interestingly, despite the cruiser styling, the California handles superbly and has a motor that enchants. A surprisingly fun and usable bike.
