Issue: On certain motorcycles, a bellow gasket in the clutch slave cylinder can be damaged. If this happens, the clutch may not disengage when the clutch lever is pulled in. This can cause the motorcycle to continue moving forward when you try to stop. It can also cause the motorcycle to move if you start it when the transmission is not in neutral (N).
Safety Risk: A clutch that does not disengage could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. A motorcycle that moves suddenly when you try to start or stop it can create a risk of injury.
Corrective Actions: The company will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to inspect and replace the clutch slave cylinder.
