Following in the footsteps of the strikingly sexy F4 supersport, MV Agusta introduces the new F3, a svelte middleweight powered by an inline triple of 675 cc. The engine uses an unusual, counter-rotating crankshaft, and reported output is about 135 hp.
For the first time on one of its motorcycles, MV has incorporated ride-by-wire throttle control into the F3, which also features traction control, a first for a middleweight sport bike. The bike’s electronics also include multiple engine maps for various riding conditions.
The frame is a steel-trellis/forged aluminum hybrid, onto which is bolted a Marzocchi inverted fork and Sachs shock absorber, both of which are fully adjustable. Front brakes are Brembo radial calipers with a Nissin master cylinder.
An unusual, yet highly stylish triple-barrel exhaust exits the right side of the bike.
Other details are scarce at the moment, but we thought you’d like to at least feast your eyes on this beauty.
They sure know how to make a head-turner those MV guys.
