Recalls
BMW Recall (#2010066)
Models Involved: 2009 K1300GT, K1300R, K1300S
Number of Vehicles: 0
Problem: On certain motorcycles, the switches on the handlebars for both the direction indicator and the emergency engine-off-start functions may fail. If this happens, the directional indicator and/or the emergency engine-off-start functions may not work properly. Improper function of the direction indicators or sudden engine stalling may create the risk of a vehicle crash causing property damage, personal injury or death.
Correction: Dealers will inspect and replace the necessary components.
Kawasaki Recall (#2010073)
Models Involved: 2009, 2010 Vulcan 1700A Voyager and 1700B (ABS) Voyager
Number of Vehicles: 588
Problem: On certain vehicles, the major graduations of the speedometer face are shown at 30 km/h intervals instead of 20 or 10 km/h as required by Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards. The non-compliance does not affect safety of the vehicle or of the rider.
Correction: No corrective action is required.
