They’re smiling all the way to the bank
Canadians bought more than 1,000 Triumph motorcycles last
year, boosting sales for the British marque by more than 20 per cent over 2008
figures.
It makes Triumph the fastest growing brand in Canada, says
Chris Ellis, GM for Canadian operations. “This is a milestone for European
motorcycle manufacturers in Canada,” he said.
Canadian sales for 2009 were 48 per cent higher than
industry average figures.
It would be my guess that GP Bikes has played a large role in Triumph’s improved sales in Canada. One of the few motorcycle shops around that appears to be doing it right these days.
I’m happy for them finally something different than Jap bikes.
Nice to hear they are selling, but I didn’t think there were too many dealerships left?
I’m glad to hear they are selling a lot of Triumphs. I’ve owned my 2002 Sprint ST since it was new and I have over 50,000 kilometers on it. I love the bike and other than the stator going this past summer, it’s been trouble free.
The new Triumphs are so much better made than the old ones we used to ride when we were kids. Quality is on par with, if not better than, any other manufacturer out there. IMHO I think Triumph offers extremely well made bikes, that you won’t still on every corner, for an excellent price.
