A new Jeremy Kroeker travel anthology will be coming out in 2016, but you can pre-order one now on Indiegogo if you want it ahead of the official release date.
The book is titled Motorcycle Messengers: tales from the road by writers who ride. Along with a piece by Kroeker, who edited the lot, there’s pieces by Lois Pryce, Neil Peart, Paddy Tyson, Carla King, Sam Manicom, Geoff Hill, Ted Bishop, Mark Richardson, Jordan Hassellmann, Christopher P. Baker and Ted Simon. It’s 320 pages long.
Kroeker’s press release says the book is “a sample pack of authors. Stuff a copy into your saddlebag, read a story by the fire, and discover your new favourite motorcycle travel writer.” And, that’s a good idea. Adventure writer/authors are a dime a dozen. Whose books should you buy? Buy Jeremy Kroeker’s and you’ll know which other books to buy.
Of course, this isn’t Kroeker’s first book; if you attend the Canadian motorcycle show circuit, or you’re plugged into the adventure riding community, you might remember his other books Through Dust and Darkness and Motorcycle Therapy. You can read his bio here.
The book will be available in 2016, but there’s an Indiegogo campaign running at the moment to fund the first printing run. Donate there, and you can be in on the first print run, receiving a book before it’s available to the paws of the unwashed masses at your local Chapters. It’s published by Oscillator Press, is 320 pages long, and will cost $21.95 CAD. Find out more details at Indiegogo here.
