Buyer’s Guide Model Detail

The DS is Zero's version of a dual-sport machine, coming in two different versions: Zero DS ZF7.2, and Zero DS ZF13.0 (+$3,900). The main difference between the two versions is the battery pack and weight; the ZF7.2  is restricted to 34 hp, presumably to prolong battery life; the ZF13.0 is faster (with 60 hp) and has far more range. An accessory battery and an accessory charger are also available at extra cost. Range is supposed to be extended to as much as 303 km of city riding with the accessory battery.
