The Z650 uses the same liquid-cooled parallel twin Kawasaki has been using for mid-size machines for several years now. It's a nice little machine, with assist/slipper clutch as standard, and much of the other equipment is also the same as the Ninja 650. ABS is also available, but it will cost you $400 more; the ABS version is also available in more paint options.
