Suzuki announced changes to the V-Strom 1000 during last fall's show circuit, including this new offroad-oriented model, with spoked wheels. Both this and the street-biased model get a new five-axis IMU, skid plate, handguards, updated traction control, linked braking, leaning ABS, and other improvements. Max horsepower is unchanged, but low- and mid-range numbers are supposed to be improved. An SE version is available with the same paint, but with sidebags and centrestand and other bits as standard.
