When Yamaha developed a new triple for the FZ-09, the plan was to use the engine in several models. The FJ-09 has the lines of a street-friendly adventure bike that features longer-travel, rebound- and preload-adjustable suspension, an 18-litre fuel tank, adjustable windscreen, an accessory outlet and ABS. A number of factory accessories can make this a very competent long-distance bike.
