Ducati released the Panigale V4 R in order to establish its dominance in roadracing. It's got less displacement than the standard V4 models (down to 998 cc), but makes more horsepower. Torque is lower, but still, it's a hot, hot motorcycle that the manufacturer says "embodies the maximum expression of Ducati values: style, sophistication, performance."
