The S1000XR is BMW's asphalt-friendly adventure bike, built around their inline-four engine originally used in their S1000R. It has a comprehensive electronics package and 17-inch wheels, making it a good choice for long miles on pavement, but not for any gnarly off-road action. A quickshifter is optional, along with hard luggage, Akrapovic exhaust and more.
