The naked Boxer. Like most of BMW's lineup, the R1250R comes with a few basic electronic aids (ABS, riding modes) as standard, but if you've got the cash, you can add significant upgrades such as traction control, electronic suspension management, keyless fob and more. This was the R1200R until 2019, when it got the new R1250 Shiftcam engine. The variable valve timing means the engine makes more power, and is also more fuel efficient.
