This is the offroad-oriented version of the V-Strom 1000, with spoked wheels. Although this bike doesn't look that much different from the the previous models of the V-Strom 1000 at first glance, there's a significant amount of tech under the surface. There's a five-axis IMU, which means Suzuki was able to update the traction control and add linked braking, ABS and other improvements. As well, Suzuki added some useful hard parts like a skid plate and handguards. Other touring-friendly bits like a centrestand and sidebags are available as accessories.
