Issue:Â On certain motorcycles, the gear shift lever may become loose. This could make it difficult or impossible to change gear.
Safety Risk:Â An inability to change gear could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions:Â Triumph will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to apply a new thread-locking compound on the shift linkage ball joints.
I remember my first Triumph recall; my pals and I were recalling what POS’s were the seventies bikes.
