If you want to watch Canada’s fastest roadracers in action but you can’t get to the track this summer, there’s good news. The Canadian Superbike series will return to TSN for another year of broadcasts, with coverage of all four race weekends.
According to CSBK’s press release, this includes coverage of the Pro Superbike and Pro Supersport classes (the 600 series got a re-brand this year). There are nine races for each of those classes (three double-headers, one triple-header) and that means 18 races in total will be broadcast on TSN this year, as well as on RDS, which is TSN’s French-language affiliate. Previously, RDS only showed the litrebike class, but now both classes will be broadcast in French.
The TSN deal is in its 30th year; the CSBK broadcasts started way back in 1995, with the French-language broadcasts added in 2024.
Marshall Ferguson returns to the English broadcast in 2025, and of course Colin Fraser (former CSBK series owner) will be on the broadcast as commentator. Pit lane reporting comes from Sarah Said, in both English and French, but at this point the organizers have not named the rest of the team for the French version of the broadcast.
The 2025 CSBK season opens with the usual race at Shannonville, over May 16-18. From there, the races move to Shubenacadie in an unusually early June 6-8 visit. After that, it’s off to Edmonton for July 4-6. The season will wrap up on the August 7-10 weekend at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville. The season opens with Ben Young defending his #1 Pro Superbike plate aboard a Honda, after he switched teams in the off-season, while Sebastien Tremblay is the guy to beat as he defends his Pro Supersport title.
