A few weeks back, KTM announced extended warranties for several street models—basically, on LC8c-powered models, and the big-bore V-twins. Now, Husqvarna has announced a similar deal.
Husky’s twin-cylinder streetbikes previously came with a two-year warranty. Now, Husqvarna is updating that deal to add an extra two years, for four years’ warranty in total.
As before, there’s some fine print, starting with the requirement to take your motorcycle to the dealership for its regularly-scheduled servicing. The deal only applies to the machines powered by the LC8c engine, the parallel twin that KTM initially debuted in the 790 Duke and 790 Adventure, now available KTM’s 790, 890 and 990 models. In Husqvarna’s case, it powers the Norden 901 and Norden 901 Expedition adventure bikes as well as the Svartpilen 801 and Vitpilen 801 street trackers. As well, the warranty only counts for bikes bought after December 13, 2024, and according to the really fine print: Husqvarna Mobility reserves the right – without prior notice and without specifying reasons – to change the Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty campaign for the Norden 901, Norden 901 Expedition, Svartpilen 801, and Vitpilen 801 models. This includes the services offered and provided therein, as well as any requirements, etc., or to discontinue them without replacement.

Husqvarna Mobility offers new four-year warranty
Enhancing customer trust through the brand’s Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty
Husqvarna Mobility is pleased to introduce its new Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty – a comprehensive and completely free four-year policy that covers selected street and travel motorcycles.
All new unregistered 2023*, 2024*, and 2025 model year machines that are powered by the LC8c engine platforms benefit from the Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty. The models covered include the Norden 901, Norden 901 Expedition, Svartpilen 801, and Vitpilen 801 while every other Husqvarna machine retains a standard warranty**.
The Premium Manufacturer’s Warranty applies worldwide, which means all Husqvarna motorcycle owners can explore every corner of the globe with complete confidence. This new warranty is activated by the first service and is valid from the “take into use” date, for a maximum of four years. Therefore, riders buying a used Husqvarna can take advantage of the same policy for an assured purchase.
To maintain the warranty for four years, the motorcycle must be serviced at an authorized Husqvarna Mobility dealership in line with the service schedule of each model. Additionally, the warranty stays with the motorcycle and is fully transferable.
