You Can Buy 007’s Motorcycles In October!

007 motorcycle

If there’s one thing you can count on in a James Bond movie, it’s a vehicle chase scene, and if you watched No Time To Die, you might remember the Triumph that ol’ 007 used to escape one of the sticky spots he found himself in:

Well, now you can buy James Bond’s bike. Or rather, Daniel Craig’s bike, which was given to him as a tie-in to the film. Craig has two Triumphs up for auction in mid-October (a scrambler and an ADV) that he’s personally signed, and the proceeds are going to help the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI). See below:

Two unique Bond Edition Triumph motorcycles, both signed and owned by actor Daniel Craig, are to be sold at auction to support the RNLI, which is celebrating its 200th anniversary in 2024.  Inspired by the bikes that featured in the 25th James Bond film, No Time To Die the number #003/250 Scrambler 1200 Bond Edition and the number #001/250 Tiger 900 Bond Edition will be auctioned with the opportunity to ride with Bond stunt coordinator Lee Morrison and 007 Bond stunt double Paul Edmondson.

That sounds like a legitimately fun opportunity, and the RNLI is one of those organizations that deserves and needs all the help it can get. The UK/Ireland-based charity has been doing rescue and lifeguard work ever since 1824; over the past 200 years, they say they’ve saved more than 146,000 lives!

Here’s what actor Craig said about the auction:

“The RNLI has been close to my heart all my life since growing up near the RNLI station at Hoylake. I have incredible memories of going afloat with the RNLI crew at Ramsgate to experience firsthand what it’s like to be part of the organization … I am honored and immensely proud to support the RNLI and hope the auction of Triumph’s Limited Edition Bond motorcycles proves popular. The riding experience with Lee Morrison and Paul Edmondson adds another unique and exciting dynamic to the lots. I worked with Lee on Casino Royale, all the way through to No Time To Die; the opportunity is not to be missed and will help raise funds for the truly lifesaving cause that is the RNLI.

The auction is in Staffordshire, in the UK, where Bonhams will sell the bikes over the October 12-13 weekend. Here’s hoping the funds raised will boost the lifeguard work for even more lives saved in the future!
