Husqvarna Norden 901 vs. Iceland, Part II

Husqvarna continues to tease the new Norden 901 adventure bike, with further footage from Mike Horn (mountain climbing-type adventurer) and Cyril Despres (former rally raid star) going out for a ride around Iceland. You know, as one does, when you have access to a prototype motorcycle.

This episode shows us a flat tire and a crack-up, which is certainly more in line with the average rider’s reality, instead of the slick and hip marketing we get from most marketeering. Anyway, expect the new bike to be completely unveiled in late October, in the days before EICMA.

When it’s unveiled, much of the bike will be familiar (it has the same engine as the KTM 890 Adventure), but along with the neo-retro bodywork, we’d also expect some suspension changes, and maybe even some change-ups with the electronics.

Unless the pandemic interferes, we would expect wide availability in Canada in spring of 2022, with pricing between $14,000 and $15,000.
