Recall #: 2021-189 (Manufacturer recall # SRV-RCL-21-002)
Models Involved: 2021 Ducati Multistrada V4
Number of Vehicles: 18
Issue: On certain motorcycles, the valve guides in the engine could wear. As a result, the valve head could break in the cylinder. If this happens, the engine could fail suddenly while riding. Note: This recall only affects certain Multistrada V4 S models.
Safety Risk: An engine failure could increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions: Ducati will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to replace the engine.
For the 18 owners in all of Canada that haven’t received the letter I’m sure this is timely and important information.
