Canada’s Rockstar-sponsored Triple Crown offroad race series has announced dates for its 2021 events, with a cross-Canada series planned this summer.
This year’s racing starts with MX rounds at Drumheller on June 19-20; Rounds 3 and 4 come June 26-27, again at Prairie Hill.
From there, we get Round 5 at Walton on July 4, and Round 6 at Gopher Dunes on July 11. Round 7 runs at Sand Del Lee on July 18, and the series takes its usual run to the east coast on July 25, with a visit to Riverglade. The series heads to Deschambault for Round 9 on August 1, and there’s a second visit to Walton for Round 10 on August 15.
As for the SX series, Rounds 1 and 2 run at Gopher Dunes on September 3 and 4, with a Rounds 3 and 4 at Sarnia on September 10 and 11.
There may be some changes to the schedule yet, as COVID-19 containment measures change around the country. Note that there’s no trip to BC this year, and the Nova Scotia race that’s usually tagged on to Riverglade is also absent.
For ongoing developments, your best bet is to keep an eye on the Triple Crown Canada Facebook page, as that’s where any changes will likely be posted first.Â
