Issue: On certain motorcycles, a problem with the anti-lock braking system (ABS) modulator could cause reduced brake pressure. If this happens, the motorcycle may have reduced brake performance.
Safety Risk: Reduced brake performance can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective Actions: Honda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a Honda Power Sports dealer to inspect the ABS modulator. It will be replaced, if necessary.
Brakes might fail, but at least you could entertain yourself with an Android Auto infotainment thingie. It’s an adventure.
