Aussie moto gear manufacturer Sa1nt says it’s planning to expand its distribution to North America. Now, you’ll be able to buy their innovative single-layer riding jeans without having to place an international order.
Sa1nt mostly focuses on motorcycle jeans and other denim riding gear, although the company also has a workwear sideline. Founded in the mid-2010’s, Sa1nt’s breakthrough was a new single-layer fabric that wove protective Dyneema material directly into the garment, instead of relying on awkward (and sweaty) internal aramid liners.
“We were convinced that in today’s day and age, we could develop something better, lighter and more comfortable, and after much R&D we found that in blending space age Dyneema into single layer denim,” says founder Aidan Clarke. “We disrupted the industry and delivered a product that felt as light and flexible as your favorite denim jeans, but could slide down the road without ripping.”
We’ve never tested Sa1nt’s riding gear, so we can’t tell you if the idea really works. However, you should be able to find out for yourself very shortly, as Sa1nt is planning to open its own warehouse in North America, selling directly to consumers.
This is important for the brand, as previously, you could only order it from Australia, jacking up the shipping costs and creating a headache if you ordered the wrong size.
